Veedersburg - Mrs. Carrie Kinneer Dugan, age 79, native of Fountain county and life resident of Fulton and VanBuren Twps.,died at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where she had been a patient one day. She was born near Veedersburg Nov. 11, 1883, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Keeling Kinneer. She was married in 1920 to William Dugan, who preceded her in death in1945. She was a member of the East Liberty Christian Church and had been a telephone operator at the Cates and Yeddo exchange for several years. Mrs. Dugan is survived by one son, Robert Dugan of Brookfield, Mo.,one daughter, Mrs. Betty Bever of Veedersburg Rt. 1; seven grandchildren, and one brother, Clyde Kinneer of Kingman Rt.2. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, one grandson and one great-granddaughter. The body is at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington where friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate and burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery, southeast of Veedersburg.

Mrs. Carrie Kinneer Dugan 79 of Kingman Route 2, a life resident of Fountain county died at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 1963 at Culver Hospital. She had been a patient there one day. Born Nov. 11 1883 near Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Keeling Kinneer. She was married in 1920 to William Dugan who preceded her in death in 1945. Mrs. Dugan had resided most of her life in Fulton and VanBuren townships. She had formerly been employed as a telephone operator in the Cates and Yeddo Exchange. She was a member of the East Liberty Christian Church. Survivors include a son Robert of Brookfield Missouri, a daughter Mrs. Betty Bever of Veedersburg Route 1, a brother Clyde Kinneer of Kingman Route 2 and seven grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers a grandson and a grt grandaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery.
